Kanorau Digital is a new short course designed to help individuals who find the digital world a bit (or a lot) challenging. During this digital skills course, you’ll gain the skills to get online safely and the know-how to navigate range of websites and apps with more confidence. This is the e-learning version of the course and allows you to learn at your own pace from the comfort of your own home.
Register for this course to get immediate access if you are residing in New Zealand at a valid address.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is not open to those living outside of New Zealand.
This online course has been organised into four modularised theme areas for learning, which we call wāhanga:
Wāhanga 1: Digital Connections and Communication
Wāhanga 2: Digital Tools and Productivity
Wāhanga 3: Digital Problem Solving
Wāhanga 4: Digital Life
You will have the option to do project work on your own following the instructions in the digital whare sections. Each wāhanga has instructions on what to do for your project, and looks to solidify the learning you’ve completed in each wāhanga, whilst learning to create your own site.
Complete the getting started module and the course in 'full' to go in the draw to win several prizes when the competition is launched. All registrations who fulfil this completion criteria before this competition is launched will automatically be entered. Terms & Conditions will be sent to all those registered in this course.
